The Life You Can Save

A day or two after my encounter with the name-gathering guy on the street, I started reading The Life You Can Save by Peter Singer.  It does not take long to read, and it is worth it.  It is challenging, scary, sad, inspiring and hopeful.  Or, as The Times put it, 'thoroughly practical, compelling, unanswerable'.

The website associated with the book is here.
